Level 2
Unarmed (non commissioned) course cost $100
Description: The Level 2 course is required in order to be an unarmed security officer in the state of Texas. This class runs for approximately 4-6 hours. It covers all of the basic rights and requirements of security officers. Student will receive their Level 2 Certificate upon successful completion of this course.

Level 3
Armed Guard Training (commissioned security officer) Course Cost $250
Description: The Level III is the required course in order to be an armed security officer in the state of Texas. This class will equip the student with a better understanding of state law. This is a hands-on course that requires the student to properly demonstrate the defensive maneuvers, patrol procedures, and handcuffing techniques that are taught throughout the week. The student must also be able to demonstrate proficiency with a firearm. This course will certify you to carry a firearm while on duty. The use of our firearms, ammunition and range fee are not included in the cost of this course.
Private Investigator course. Course costs $250 Have You Ever Wanted to Become a Private Investigator?
Description: This will be a 3 day course. The first 2 days will be 9 hours long and can be used to help meet any managers’ requirements on their continued education that must meet the 18 hours required by PSB. Now is your chance to learn the fascinating world of Private Investigation first hand by Golden Armor Investigation’s very own academy. IMPORTANT NOTE: As of January 1, 2024 ALL Level 3 Students/Applicants must also complete and submit a Psychological Evaluation/MMPI in addition to the Level 3 Training Certificate to the PSB in order to obtain this license. The Psych Eval/MMPI must be administered by a licensed psychologist.
LEVEL IV
level 4/PPO training
Cost $250
The Level IV is the required course in order to be a personal protection officer in the state of Texas. This class will equip the student with a better understanding of state laws relating to body guarding. This is a hands-on course that requires the student to properly demonstrate the defensive maneuvers that are taught; including strikes, kicks, defense against knife & gun attacks etc.
Students will receive their Level IV Certificate upon successful completion of this course
